Annual Parish Assembly

The Annual Parish Assembly was held on the 4th April. At the meeting the Chairman presented grants to local community groups just a selection of photos from the meeting.

The Vice Chairman of the Parish Council, Cllr.John Beddows also presented a new chain of Office for the Vice Chairman to the Parish Council as a gift in memory of the commitment for the work that he and his late wife have carried out over the years in the village.

Cllr.Beddows told the meeting that he was honoured to be Vice Chairman of the Parish Council and has always felt that Norton Canes is a lovely village and that when he and his wife came to live here many years ago, he received a very warm welcome from a close knit community and that we should be very proud of our village.
