New Cemetery

Work on the new cemetery continues and currently in legal proceedings regarding a deed of easement re the access pathway leading from the old churchyard to the new cemetery site.  One this legal process is completed the next steps are to apply to the Diocese for a Faculty application and once agreed and the loan from the Public Loans Board has been agreed the Parish Council can then enter into legal proceedings to purchase the land.

This has been a long process with a lot of barriers to have been overcome but it is hoped that once legal matters are resolved the project can move forward.
